Mission
The Community Engagement Core (CEC) of the Institute of Environmental Health Sciences is dedicated to increasing awareness and sharing knowledge of environmental health sciences and issues with the public, educators, and environmental health professionals.
Objectives:
- Disseminate our environmental health education programs for K-12 students and their teachers, which cover the state and national science education objectives.
- Focus public and community education on reducing environmental disease risk and/or hazard exposure.
- Serve as a resource on environmental health issues.
